It can happen that the legs of the BEEP base seem to bend and touch each other when you put the hive on top. You can do the following to resolve the problem:
- rearrange the legs, so put them on different places in the BEEP base and tighten the wing bolts which push the legs in place with pliers
- unscrew the eight bolts of two yellow metal covers and ensure they are aligned precisely with the weight sensor in the middle.
- position the BEEP base and hive level (if possible)
If the legs still touch, let us know.
